Dear Supporter,
Below is our March electronic newsletter. Please review this information. You will see that we need your help. Registration is still open for the Golf Ball. We hope to see you there. Below you will find links to online Golf Ball registration. We can still send you a printed invitation if you need one. We also want photos for our Honoring Lives Photo Montage. And, finally, we are seeking donations suitable for our silent auction. Please contact us if you can help in any of these areas. Thank you.
Registration for the March 29, 2008 Golf Ball continues and there are still seats available. We hope you are able to join us for this tremendous evening of fun and philanthropy. That evening we will dedicate all our 2008 fundraising to a dear friend of our events, who lost his battle with cancer the day after Thanksgiving. His spirit lives on through the work we do, and we will honor him in a special way on March 29. In addition, listen on the following radio stations during the month of March for our Public Service Announcement; WMJX, WROR, MIX 98.5, WZLX, WBZ, WEEI, WRKO, WTKK, MIKE FM 93.7, KISS 108 and WAAF. We want to hear from you when you hear them. If you plan to stay overnight at the Hilton, that deadline for the discounted rate is March 10. After that, they will release the block and we lose the rooms. If you would like a printed invitation mailed to you, please send your address to newsletter@par4cure.com.

Premiering at the Golf Ball and continuing with the golf tournament on June 14, we want to present a photo montage, comprised of images of loved ones lost to cancer, set beautifully to music. Our mission statement is to honor lives and offer hope, and want to honor your loved ones this way. Please submit photos by March 15. Photos can be submitted by either sending us an original photo, or email a JPEG or TIFF image. Electronic images must be minimum 300 DPI. A DVD will be produced for your keepsake of the entire presentation after the Golf Ball. Mailed images will be returned to you. The Par Fore the Cure Golf Classic and its Golf Ball honors the lives of everyone affected by brain tumors, and offers hope to patients, families, and practitioners by raising awareness and funding brain tumor research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. We strive to make our events an occasion of compassion and philanthropy, and the single best time anyone can spend in any golfing realm. Through in-kind food donations and corporate partnerships, we endeavor to run our events efficiently, ensuring that our bottom-line donations increase while our costs remain affordable to all guests. The Par Fore the Cure was founded in 2000 by Michael Strong to honor the memory of friend who lost his battle with a brain tumor. Since then, the Par Fore the Cure has raised $173,000. The 2008 goal is $60,000 through The Golf Ball and golf tournament, raising the nine-year contribution to more than $225,000.
